Birmingham City Council published the results of its Kings Heath Park landscape improvements consultation on 21 July 2026. The consultation ran from 21 May to 14 June 2026 and is now closed.
The council received 319 responses, with 94% supporting the overall proposals. Expanding the play area was the leading priority. Respondents also raised the separate toddler area, public toilets and facilities for teenagers and young people.
The project is moving into detailed design. The council says the feedback will help refine the proposals, including a safer toddler area and improved accessibility. Funding does not yet cover every proposed improvement, so this is not an announcement that all work is funded or complete.
